Creating space is the first step to inviting prosperity, author and speaker Randy Gage said in a blog post about the mindset shifts required for abundance.
“If you want to manifest prosperity into some aspect of your life, look at where you may need to create a vacuum,” Gage wrote. “How are you going to manifest your ideal soulmate if you’re holding onto an abusive current relationship? How will you manifest optimal health if you hang on to the false programming you receive every time you watch a commercial from a fast-food restaurant? How will you become wealthy if you’re holding on to a belief that rich people are evil?”
The concept of a “vacuum law” is rooted in the idea that clearing out negative patterns, people, or beliefs creates room for positive replacements to enter. Gage argues that personal transformation begins with identifying what needs to be removed before adding anything new.
He also emphasizes that prosperity is not solely about financial wealth. The same principle applies to love, health, and purpose—requiring space to receive better outcomes.
