Entrepreneur and biohacking pioneer Dave Asprey says the secret to better rest isn’t about logging more hours — it’s about building internal strength.
In a LinkedIn post, Asprey wrote, “Resilient people with powerful nervous systems get more sleep in less time.”
He emphasized that nervous system resilience — not sleep quantity — determines how deeply we rest. To build it, Asprey recommends practices like breathwork, meditation, forgiveness, and trauma release.
“Getting better sleep is more important than getting more sleep,” he added.
Asprey’s focus on quality over quantity echoes broader research showing that stress regulation and emotional balance play a critical role in sleep efficiency. His message reframes sleep not as a passive state, but as an outcome of active resilience training.
